"If anyone has ever been wondering if Turkiye is a good Erasmus+ destination, then they shouldn’t be worried at all. It’s colourful, it’s vivid, it’s tasty, it’s wonderful. Throughout the whole semester I’ve been met with much warmth, care and attention from all of the ESN members, who did all they could to provide us with a diverse and exciting activities. The university life was amazing as well, and the classes were really interesting. Trust me, you will love it here. "

"The ESN did a great job of organizing events, helping with issues such as getting transportation card or residence permit. Overall I am very happy that ESN was there and all the members were always super helpful."

"The ESN volunteers did an amazing job supporting me and the other exchange students. During my semester lessons were online, so without ESN I would've never been able to actually get to know the city and the culture of Türkiye. In every occasion the volunteers have proved their full commitment to the scope of the program and network. I can't be grateful enough for everything ESN has done for me. I am now an ESN volunteer myself, so I hope to do my job as well as ESN DEÜ has done for me."

"I would say that it was a great experience, but if you asked me on a deeper level, I'd say it was it was one of the best years in my life. Sometimes, even too often, I close my eyes and imagine sitting in Dokuz Eylul's amphitheater. All of a sudden I'm meeting the people that will become my family for the next months. We don't care about anything else, we just enjoy each others company. This time is over for real. We say goodbye and hope that one day we'll meet each another again. I open my eyes, I'm living the same life I was living before. Everything was like a dream, with experiences I wouldn't have had at home, all thanks to ESN Dokuz Eylul. They made the most memorable moments in this experience! We love all of you!! "

"It was the most amazing experience, and sincerely ESN made it incredible. They were the first person that we took contact with, helping us socialising with each other. They were here in every moments, the wonderful ones as the difficult ones (especially residence permit) More than a simple university structure they have became family. "

"I keep telling people that the Erasmus semester in İzmir was one of the best times of my life, and that the ESN played a HUGE role in that. From start to finish, ESN had its impact through offering help and organising great trips and events! Two years after starting my semester in Izmir, I can only look back and be thankful for the memories and the people that I shared them with! With some of them I’m still friends, and I hope to be able to visit them soon."
